Mooon Cafe, located on Level 2 of The Terraces in Ayala Center, Cebu City, is a vibrant dining destination that invites you to experience the lively flavors of Mexican cuisine. With a cheerful ambiance painted in bold colors reminiscent of a Mexican fiesta, the cafe creates a welcoming atmosphere for all diners. Whether you're a casual visitor or a devoted fan, Mooon Cafe promises an exciting culinary journey.
As you step inside, you're greeted by a scent that tantalizes the senses, hinting at the delicious offerings waiting for you. The menu showcases an array of carefully crafted dishes, from the crispy Fish Mozzarella to the comforting Creamy Pumpkin Soup. Patrons rave about the Chimichanga, complimenting its delightful balance of flavors. The Carbonara, a unique addition to a Mexican-themed menu, also receives high praise for its creamy consistency and rich taste.
However, customer feedback reveals areas for improvement in service, particularly regarding timing and attentiveness. One diner noted being rushed at closing time, which detracts from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Despite these hiccups, the overall sentiment remains positive, with many diners appreciating the friendly and approachable staff.
Mooon Cafe stands out as a top choice for a quick yet satisfying meal. Highlights such as the Beef Salpicao and Gambas Ala Luna are recommended for those seeking a hearty dish. For lighter fare, the Nachos Supremo with fried chicken makes for a perfect starter or snack. The generous portion sizes — think huge servings of rice and plentiful toppings — ensure that every meal feels abundant.
Accessibility is another plus, with easy access to parking and escalators leading directly to the cafe on the second floor. While the unisex restroom may cause some minor inconvenience, it does not overshadow the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Mooon Cafe offers a flavorful escape to Mexico right in Cebu City. With a vibrant atmosphere, a menu packed with delicious options, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, it remains a restaurant worth revisiting again and again. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or planning a leisurely meal, Mooon Cafe invites you to indulge in its culinary delights.

We arrived here at 8.20, only one other table was occupied, and the server had to ask the kitchen if we could still order! We understand that early dining is normal in the Philippines, but this restaurant was due to stay open until 9.00. The food itself was excellent, but being told twice that we couldn't order any more food (even though we hadn't asked), being presented with the bill whilst still eating, and then the floor being mopped at 8.55 whilst we sat there was not acceptable.

Not my first time at a Moon Cafe but this was my first time at Ayala Center Cebu's branch. We came earlier so it was still not crowded and boy do I love their place. Very cheerful ambience, colourful as it is screaming Mexican all over. Now the food, well they didn't disappoint. We ordered the Fish Mozzarella which was crispy, the fish still fresh and juicy and it blended well with the fresh tomato. We also the Creamy Pumpkin Soup, the Carbonara and the Taco Chips with beef and cheese lol. The staff is friendly and approachable. Only downside though is that their comfort room is unisex. So there's that. Also I should note that the place is very accessible from the nearest parking place. It is also located at the second level of the Ayala Terraces so when you arrive via the Terraces entrance there is an escalator leading to the second floor. Other than 5 stars. Will definitely come back.

Chimichanga is delicious. Pork steak was a little salty and dry but it was okay. Chicken fajitas was on the salty side as well. The chicharones (fried pork belly) was tasty, although a little rubbery because it was overcooked(Not on the photo) Overall, the food is fine. Service was excellent. And Margarita was well blended.

My favorite Mexican Fast Food Resto. Recommended would be there Beef Salpicao, Gambas Ala Luna and Chimichanga. If you're looking for a quick mexican inspired meal, choose this place. If you're looking for a pica-pica go for their nachos supremo with fried chicken. Best is their montecarlo chicken. Skip the fish and steak. Pochero is served large. Huge serving of rice. Best hidden menu is Montecarlo sandwiches for late afternoon snacks.
